Vehicle Barriers at the Santa Monica Pier, Santa Monica CA

1. Provide three beam gates, additional portable barriers and a trailer capable of rapid deployment by no more than two persons. 2. When properly deployed the beam gates and barriers can mitigate a vehicle incursion at road closures, special events, and temporary road access points. 3. Provide vehicle incursion certifications, data, and ratings. 4. All barriers will be above ground and not dependent on being anchored or otherwise attached to the pavement or asphalt. 5. Engineer certified and rated systems. 6. Safety certifications. 7. All gates will be portable and fully deployable by no more than two persons. 8. Beam gates and barriers allow for emergency vehicle and pedestrian access without moving a barrier. 9. Provide one trailer capable of transporting at a minimum one beam gate at a time. 10. Beam gate will be of a flexible design capable of being manually expanded from 14 to 20 feet. 11. Barrier materials will be non-lethal with full ballistic capabilities rated to at least .308 caliber and below. 12. Ability to integrate with other barrier systems such as jersey barriers and water barriers. 13. Warranty and service on beam gates and barriers for at least three years. 14. Provide deployment and preventative maintenance training on beam gates, barriers and trailer. Questions regarding this bid are due Wednesday, October 20, 2021 no later than 3:00 pm PST
