Lead Hazard Reduction Grant Program Contractor Qualified List, Sacramento Co., CA

It is the intent of the Agency to create two separate qualified lists from contracts awarded from this RFP. One list will be for B General Contractors and a separate list of Painting Contractors. If a Contractor has both required licenses, that Contractor can submit one Proposal for both lists. The Sacramento Housing and Redevelopment Agency has recently been awarded a Lead Hazard Reduction grant from the United States Department of Housing and Urban Development’s Office of Lead Hazard Control and Healthy Homes which will be in effect for three years. This grant provides funds for the remediation and abatement of lead in older homes (both single and multifamily) located throughout Sacramento to minimize the exposure of lead hazards to young children. As a result, SHRA and its constituent entities is issuing a Request for Proposals (RFP) from contractors licensed by the State of California Contractors State License Board (CSLB) with a B-General Contractor or C-33 Painting Contractor interested in providing lead abatement services outlined in the Scope of Work. SHRA strongly encourages the participation of Section 3 contractors for this RFP. Project duration is 3 years.
