Description
The Sacramento Housing and Redevelopment Agency (SHRA) is requesting proposals from experienced and qualified “B” General Building contractors qualified to perform the demolition of the existing single family home at 7684 Sweetbrier Way and the new construction of a single family home at the same location. The new home will then be sold to a qualified low income, first-time home buyer (qualified home buyer). The house is located in the Meadowview area of South Sacramento. The General Contractor may elect to self-perform portions of the work, but the following trades must be performed by a contractor who holds the specialty license (either the general contractor or a subcontractor): Demolition (C-21), Electrical (C-10), Plumbing (C-36), Warm-Air heating, Ventilation and AC (C-20), Solar (C-46), and Fire Protection (C-16). Project duration is 180 days. Questions are due no later than 10:00 PM on Nov 5th.
Bonds required. Prevailing wages.
