Description

The Center for Environmental Management of Military Lands (CEMML) at Colorado State University would like to establish a term contract with one or more qualified sources to provide various aggregate supplies to assist with land rehabilitation and maintenance operations at Fort Hood, TX, as needed by CEMML. CEMML works closely with the Department of Defense, US Army Corps of Engineers, National Park Service, and other departments and agencies through cooperative agreements, grants, and contracts. Our resource management and planning, research, education, and outreach efforts inform military and other federal managers as they meet their dual mandates of using and conserving public-trust resources. A high proportion of CEMML’s researchers and technicians work full-time at federal and military installations. The strategic placement of staff at these installations facilitates consistent service and problem-solving. The term of the award will be for one year from award notification with the option to renew for an additional four one-year terms.  Due to the varying nature of the land rehabilitation and maintenance work performed by CEMML personnel, it is impossible to identify each, and every aggregate needed for the projects. Below is a list of the most common. The University reserves the right to add additional aggregate supplies to the list as needed. 1. 2” rock 2. 3’ x 5” rock 3. 5” x 8” rock 4. 12” x 18” Rip-Rap rock 5. Type D Cold Mix Asphalt 6. Ready Mix Concrete
