Description
The project involves constructing a berm and other drainage features on the downstream side of the dam, removing the existing spillway weir crest, constructing a new spillway weir crest, and repairing concrete on the upstream face of the dam. The project includes property access coordination and site restoration. This project is located in Wingfoot Lake Wildlife Area, Portage County, Ohio. To reach the Wingfoot Lake Dam from Mogadore, Ohio, take Portage Line Road south to Waterloo Road. Turn left to go east on Waterloo Road for 1.67 miles to the park entrance. Substantial Completion date for all work under this project is February 2, 2022. Project Completion date for all work under this project is June 6, 2022.
