Route 41 Over Kings River Bird and Bat Mitigation Services, near Stratford, CA

Contractor agrees to provide to the California Department of Transportation (Caltrans) all labor, materials, equipment, parts, tools, supplies, and incidentals necessary to prevent birds from nesting and bats from roosting on Caltrans structure as described herein. 2. The services shall be performed at Caltrans bridge number 45-0007 crossing over the Kings River on State Route 41, located south of the community of Stratford in Kings County. The existing structure is 46.3 feet wide and 259.8 feet long. 3. Any reference to Caltrans Contact Manager shall also include his/her designee. 4. This Agreement will commence on December 1, 2021 (est.), or upon approval by Caltrans, whichever is later, and no work shall begin before that time. This Agreement is of no effect unless approved by Caltrans. Contractor shall not receive payment for work performed prior to approval of the Agreement and before receipt of notice to proceed by Caltrans Contract Manager. This Agreement shall expire on June 30, 2022 (est.). The services shall be provided Monday through Friday, during normal working hours from 7:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., except State holidays.
