Maintenance, Repairs, Service, & Replacement of Fire Extinguishers & Suppression Systems, Broome County, NY

The general intention of the Contractor’s scope of work for this Service Contract is to provide all labor, material, equipment, travel costs and all other ancillary costs as required providing full inspection, preventative maintenance, component and/or system repair or replacement and availability for emergency services. Details of service not explicitly stated in these specifications, but necessarily attendant thereto, is deemed understood by the Contractor as included herein. The term of the contract will be for one (1) year and will commence on or about November 1, 2021 and terminate on October 31, 2022 following the approval of the County’s Board of Acquisition and Contract (BAC), execution of a standard Broome County Contract and receipt and approval of a satisfactory ‘certificate of insurance w/endorsement’. Broome County reserves the right, upon mutual agreement, to renew this contract under all of the same terms and conditions for three (3) additional periods of one (1) year each, as follows: Base Contract: November 1, 2021 through October 31, 2022, 1st Renewal Option: November 1, 2022 through October 31, 2023, 2nd Renewal Option: November 1, 2023 through October 31, 2024, and 3rd Renewal Option: November 1, 2024 through October 31, 2025.
