Description

This is a request for a sealed bid proposal to construct and install two painted metal archway signs, and supply and install 20 powder-coated plates that will be attached to the buildings for the use of attaching decorative lighting. All designs should minimize damage to the building walls with holes for fasteners. The location of this project is on State Bank Lane in downtown Cochran. It is on the oneblock segment of State Bank Lane between N. Second Street and John Conner Memorial Lane. Drawings are conceptual for the bid process. Bidder is encouraged to submit design and aesthetic improvements that will be considered in the successful bid. Bidder must complete a proposed design drawing with design specifications in the bid submittal. The successful bidder must complete field measurements and submit a final design and specification document for approval by the City of Cochran DDA. Specifications:  ·  Painted metal posts bolted directly to the ground with painted post base and deco style finials.  ·  Single-sided painted archway with 2" square tubing frame, 12 (h) cut-through letters. ·  "STATE BANK LANE", and 6" (h) cut-through letters showing "COCHRAN GEORGIA EST 1869"· Supply and install 20-powder-coated metal plates at 8' spacing on buildings for the purpose of installing outdoor string lights across the alleyway.·  For stability, sign structure will be attached to buildings for support. Submit bid with an "estimated time of completion" from award.
