Salton Sea Dust Suppression Projects, Imperial County, CA

Transport and placement of 170,000 grass bales, enhancement of vegetation, and creation of imprinted seed beds at projects identified in the Vegetation Enhancement Project Descriptions and Maps Document (Exhibit A, Attachment 2). All work provided by the Contractor will be performed on an as-needed basis and always at the direction of DWR. The Contractor will be familiar with and follow all federal, state and local regulatory requirements in order to construct projects. DWR will provide biological, environmental, and archeological/paleo monitoring and plans necessary to meet such regulatory requirements. The Contractor will be responsible for preparing and submitting a Construction Dust Control Plan to Imperial County Air Pollution Control District (ICAPCD). The Contractor will construct the projects as shown and described in the Construction Plan Set (Exhibit A, Attachment 3). The Contractor will be familiar with and use Trimble or Topcon construction GPS equipment, or similar, for building the projects as specified. DWR will provide the Contractor with either point files, Digital Elevation Models, or whichever point formats the Contractor prefers. Questions due 10/25/21. DBE incentives.
