Description

The project occurs within a 10-mile radius of Moab (I-70 and SR-191) near Dead Horse State Park on State lands above Long Canyon.  Long Canyon is located 9 miles northwest of Moab, Utah and 4.6 miles east of Highway 313 where is SR 313 heads into Dead Horse State Park.  Most of the materials and all of the signs will be provided by SITLA. However, the bidder will need to supply the 1" schedule 40 pipe. Each pipe length shall be 5 feet in length and predrilled at the top of each segment (see attached scope of work).  The State of Utah School and Institutional Trust Lands Administration (SITLA), is acquiring services in this contract to install nineteen (19) individual pipe and cable fences totaling approximately 915 feet, attach 30 signs (8”x12”) to said fences, attach & install up to 6 signs (8”x12 & 14” x 12”)  on single 4 x 4 posts and up to 6 large signs (24” x 36” & 27” x 20”) on to two 4 x 4 posts, each at specific locations. Moab Bureau of Land Management (BLM) is a nearby property manager and may assist SITLA as needed during project implementation.
