Description
The selected Contractor shall construct shoreline stabilization consisting of a pre-cast
concrete block gravity wall and articulated concrete block mat (“ACBM”) to address the
erosion of approximately 620 linear feet of shoreline (Phase III) at the eastern end of the
Park adjacent to the existing boat ramps and parking area. In addition, the selected
Contractor will construct shoreline stabilization consisting of another pre-cast concrete
block gravity wall and habitat bench to address the erosion of approximately 1,020 linear
feet of shoreline (Phase IV) at the western end of the Park adjacent to an existing fishing
pier. This project continues work performed for Cameron County under previous phases
of Adolph Thomae Park Shoreline Stabilization. This project is being funded through
CEPRA and is conducted in partnership with the Cameron County Parks Department. Questions due 11/1/21.
Bonds required. Prevailing wages.
