Generator Maintenance & Repair, Lynchburg District, VA

The Virginia Department of Transportation (herein referred to as “VDOT”), is soliciting bids from qualified firms to establish a contract to provide Preventative Maintenance Inspection (PMI), scheduled “on call” repairs, and emergency repair services for Stand-by Generators currently owned by VDOT and located throughout the Lynchburg District and in accordance with the specifications, terms and conditions contained in this Invitation For Bid (IFB). Repair services outside of the routine PMI will be on a time and materials basis. The Contractor shall possess a Department of Professional and Occupational Regulation (DPOR) Contractor’s license Class “A” or Class “B” with Electrical additional license specialty designation. One year contract, renewable. Lot 1: City of Lynchburg and Campbell County Lot 2: Pittsylvania, Halifax, and Charlotte Counties Lot 3: Buckingham, Prince Edward, Cumberland, Appomattox, Amherst, and Nelson Counties. Q&A due 5 days prior to bid. SBE goal 42%.
