Lincoln Elementary Parking Paving & Resurfacing, Lincolnton, GA

Scope of work involves: 1. Excavate proposed upper parking lot/traffic lanes. Install 6” of graded aggregate base course compacted to a 95% compaction standard. Pave with 2 inches of 12.5 mm bituminous asphalt pavement. 2. Install concrete or asphalt flume to funnel the water from the parking lot to a drainage ditch. Install rip-rap at the end for erosion prevention. 3. Installing a grass area and/or visual separation between the new paved area and the Adjacent public road. 4. Mill Area at the sidewalk to prepare for 1 ½” of overlay asphalt. 5. Repair/patch existing parking lot for resurfacing. 6. Resurface existing parking lot with 1 ½” of bituminous asphalt pavement. 7. Install a concrete edge at the transition of the new pavement to the gravel parking lot. 9. Paint traffic lines and parking spot lines. All Contractors will need to be licensed, insured, and bonded. These credentials will need to be submitted with the bid.
