Description
The Project involves 5,500 lf of 10’ wide asphalt walking path, a pedestrian bridge, pedestrian culvert refurbishment, trail lighting, a 107’ 48” jack and bore, and miscellaneous stormwater work. This is a NCDOT funded “Buy American” project. Bidders must be NCDOT prequalified for this type of contract. The contractor shall comply with the Department of Labor Safety and Health Regulations for construction promulgated under the Occupational Safety and Health Act of 1970 (PL91-596) and under Section 107 of the Contract Work Hours and Safety Standards Act (PL91-54), or latest revisions. Minority owned and female owned business enterprises are encouraged to bid. DBE goal is 4%.
