Annual Needs for Incidental Grading, Durham & Wake Counties, NC

This contract is for annual needs for equipment, labor, and materials for an incidental grading crew to perform work at various locations along NC-540 and NC-147 in Wake and Durham Counties. The grading work includes stabilizing slopes, performing wash-out repairs, installing ditches, and removing erosion control devices. The Contractor will be required to provide traffic control, as directed by the Engineer. All work and materials shall be in accordance with the provisions of the General Guidelines of this contract, the Project Special Provisions, the North Carolina Department of Transportation Standard Specifications for Roads and Structures 2018, the North Carolina Department of Transportation 2018 Roadway Standard Drawings, and the current edition of the Manual of Uniform Traffic Control Devices (MUTCD). The quantities stated in the Bid Form are estimates and are not guaranteed. The Contractor shall keep himself fully informed of all Federal, State, and local laws, ordinances, and regulations, and shall comply with the provisions of Section 107 of the Standard Specifications.
