Description

The work consists of the construction of a new 2,600 gpm water treatment plant including, four GAC vessels, three chemical feed systems, two offices, a laboratory, restrooms, and all associated HVAC, plumbing, and electrical equipment and appurtenances, site piping, and site work. The project also includes pump upgrades in two wellhouses. Sub bids will be received until November 16, 2021 at 2:00pm. Sub trades include Electrical, Miscellaneous and Ornamental Iron, Fire Protection Sprinkler System, Painting, HVAC, Plumbing, Masonry, Roofing and Flashing, and Metal Windows. The Work will be ready to test (beginning functional testing as defined in Section 01810) within 450 calendar days from the date of the Notice to Proceed.  The Work will be substantially completed within 540 calendar days from the date of the Notice to Proceed and completed and ready for final payment in accordance with paragraph 15.06 of the General Conditions within 600 calendar days from the date of the Notice to Proceed. MBE goal is 4.2% and WBE goal is 4.5%.
