Northeast Downtown Water Main Replacement, Phase I, Villa Rica, GA

Division A: Under this division, the Contractor must furnish the labor and materials (except for 10”, 8”, and 6” pipe, fire hydrants, and gate valves) necessary to install approximately 4,000 LF of 10” water main, 100 LF of 8” water main, 550 LF of 6” water main, and all valves, fittings, bores, service transfers and other appurtenances necessary for complete installation. See Division B scope for specifics of what materials the City shall provide. All other materials shall be provided by contractors for Division A. Division B: Under this division, the material supplier must furnish the following materials: 4,350 LF of 10” C-900 PVC water main, 120 LF of 8” C-900 PVC water main, 600 LF of 6” C-900 PVC water main, 7 fire hydrants, and 22 valves (size 6” – 10”). All other materials will be provided by the contractor for Division A. Time allotted for completion of work on Division A is 90 consecutive calendar days. All Work shall be completed in accordance with the plans and specifications. The Work will be awarded in two (2) Contracts.
