Hale Creek Enhancement Pilot Project, Mountain View and Los Altos CA

This project is to increase channel flood capacity and improve the ecology of the creek system.  Project scope includes removal of approx 650 ft of existing concrete trapezoidal channel lining on Hale Creek from upstream of Marilyn Drive, City of Mountain View to downstream of North Sunshine Drive, City of Los Altos; removal of chain link and wood fences within temporary construction easements; removal of trees, shrubs, existing storm drain outfalls, existing Marilyn Drive access ramp, existing concrete curbs, existing asphalt concrete pavement and subgrade and existing gas line and casing where identified in the Drawings; removal of the existing 30-ft x 15-ft bridge spanning the Seventh-day Adventist Church parking lots; construct a new 30-ft x 12-ft prefabricated steel bridge to span between the East and West banks slightly downstream of the existing bridge; development and implementation of a groundwater management plan. and much more.  See specs.
