Soccer Bleacher Improvements Project, San Jose CA

In general, the project will provide repairs to infrastructure in the area that is failing as well as revise hard scape between the soccer field, bleachers, Stadium Way, and Tenth Street so as to adhere to ADA code compliance requirements. Excavate, frame and install flat work for west side bleacher structure including necessary circulation and flat work required for path of travel to CEFCU and Stadium Way. Excavate, frame and install flat work for the east side press box area and as required to meet ADA requirements for path of travel to the existing pedestrian gate along 10th street. 75 days duration. The scope of work is described herein and within the Construction Drawings and Specifications. Bidders will note that the Owner has procured the Bleacher Structure and Press Platform outside the scope of work of this contract. All work associated with the “B” series of drawings (Sheets B1-B20), including bleacher and press platform footings and foundations and structure will be provided and constructed under a separate contract between the Owner and Bleacher Contractor. The scope of work for this project includes: ● All work associated with Civil/Landscape drawing series and specifications ● All work associated with Electrical drawing series and specifications, including all final connections, startup, and commissioning with the Owner ● All work associated with Architectural drawing series and specifications While the construction of the bleacher and press platform structure and foundations are outside this scope of work, the awarded Contractor shall coordinate all scheduling and construction sequencing to appropriately construct the scopes of work together. Critical pieces of scope area overlap include, but are not limited to: ● Site earthwork preparation within the new bleacher and press platform area (mass grading, over-excavation, subgrade preparation and compaction, etc.) shall be completed by the awarded Contractor prior to the Bleacher Contractor beginning their work on the foundations. ● Site paving and hardscape work shall be completed by the awarded Contractor within the bleacher footprint prior to erection of the steel structure
