Bid Date Change - Chet Harritt Pump Station and Clearwell Effluent Flow Meter, Lakeside CA, La Mesa CA

The Chet Harritt Pump Station project will enable the District to reliably meet required AWP deliveries from Lake Jennings to District's Treatment Plant. Work will include demolition, construcion of new Chet Harritt Pump Station, yard piping, fittings, valves, flowmeter, vaults, couplings, welding, cleaning and disinfection, concrete encasement, cathodic protection, excavation and trenching, fill and compaction. Sitework includes stormwater BMP's SWPPP, erosion protection, grading, paving, concrete curbs, site walls, fencing and gate modifications, drainage, stormwater improvements, biofiltration basin, slope protections, asphalt and concrete surface components, standby generator and all associated civil, mechanical, structural, fuel tank, electrical and instrumentation, concrete pad; generator installation, conduits and conductors, and access platform; out-of-lake air piping, concrete headwall and all components; installation of dam seepage flume and sump facility including piping and connections and all associated civil, mechanical, structural, electrical and instrumentation; duct banks and chases including all civil site improvements, ducts, concreted fill, pull boxes, wiring, fiber optic cables and other appurtenances. This project will also involve the installation of a new 42-inch Clearwell effluent or potable water flowmeter for the purpose of metering water conveyance to outside agencies. Installation of the Clearwell effluent flow meter facility includes removal of existing piping and valves and connections to the existing clearwell outlet piping and all civil, mechanical, structural, electrical and instrumentation components; flow meter vault, flow meter piping, piping connections, valves, valve/pipe supports and associated appurtenances. Remove and dispose of non-rippable rock and fabrication, installation, maintenance and removal of two 48-inch by 48-inch construction street signs and fabrication, installation, maintenance and removal of two 96-inch by 48-inch construction street signs per specifications. DBE GFE required. Minority participation goal is 16.9% and Women participation goal is 6.9%.
