Description

The Airport is seeking qualified firms, teams, joint ventures (JV), or other qualified business entities (collectively “Proposers”) to provide proposals to provide design-build services as part of the West Field Program for the following projects: Contract 11918.66, Cargo Building 626.1; The Airport has a series of cargo buildings at the end of their useful life. This replacement 254,000 square feet, two-story cargo facility has been planned with approximately 106,000 square feet on level 1 and approximately 88,000 square feet on level 2, and a combined 60,000 square feet of mezzanine-level space, half of which would support level 1, and half of which would support level 2. The building will require landside maneuvering depth from West Field Road for approximately 28 trucks. The first phase of this facility will likely be occupied by an airline tenant. To construct the new facility demolition of the existing Building 624 will be required. Contract 11984.66, Cargo Building 720.1 & GSE Building 742: This replacement 120,000 square feet, single-story cargo facility has been planned with approximately 95,000 square feet of cargo area, and 25,000 square feet of mezzanine office space along with landside maneuvering depth from West Field Road for approximately 30 trucks. The Project also has an ancillary Ground Service Equipment (GSE) Maintenance Facility (Building 742) of approximately 17,000 square feet on site, but not physically connected, to Building 720.1. To construct the new facilities, demolition of the existing Building 730 will be required. Two different firms will be selected. The Commission will not award both contracts to the same Proposer. Each contract awarded pursuant to this Solicitation shall be non-exclusive with a Contract Time of One Thousand Three Hundred Forty (1,340) consecutive calendar days. Questions are due 8/17/23.

Bonds required. Prevailing wages.
