Description
The objective of the project is to replace Moccasin’s aging wastewater treatment plant with a new, reliable wastewater treatment plant. The new facility includes an influent lift station and equalization basin, preliminary treatment equipment, a sequencing batch reactor (SBR) system, a chlorine contact tank, and ancillary equipment. Additionally, there will be electrical improvements to support the new system, including a new medium voltage, pad-mounted transformer and replacement of a medium voltage power distribution pole. The contract will also include the demolition of the existing wastewater treatment plant after the new plant is commissioned. LBE goal is 7%.
