Description

The project tank site is located at approximately 16742 Placerita Canyon Road, in the city of Santa Clarita. The project generally consists of removing and replacing all interior linings, and spot paint repair to the exterior. The work includes, but is not limited to the complete removal of all interior linings, the surface preparation and application of protective coating to all specified surfaces of the tank structure, including all attachments, appurtenances, and accessories; the repair of the exterior paint system by spot repair and overcoating using epoxy and acrylic/urethane protective coatings; wedging of roof plates; a limited amount of grinding; corrosion repair to steel roof bar supports on the underside of the roof; a limited amount of mechanical/welding repairs as may be required; and all associated work as indicated in the Contract Documents.
