Description

The Memorial Gym Locker Room Renovation project is a multiphase renovation project within Memorial Gym located on The University of Texas at El Paso campus. The locker rooms are used by the UTEP Women’s Volleyball and Beach Volleyball teams. The term Phasing also defines the project’s Base Bid and Alternates. Phase #1 is the project’s Base Bid. Phase #2 is to be Alternate #1. Phase #3 is to be Alternate #2. Phase #4 is to be Alternate #3. The project has been designed in phases in order to 1) allow the teams to function throughout the project by having existing, temporary, and/or newly renovated locker rooms available at all times; 2) accommodate Beach Volleyball team and 3) allow project stakeholders to clearly identify how much work can be accomplished. See attached. The work will be awarded under as a Lump-Sum contract to the Respondent offering the “best value” to the Owner. HUB Subcontracting Plan required.
