Description
The Gardena Pumping Plant consists of two functionally separate pumping plants located on the same property which were constructed in 1928 and 1960, respectively. The equipment and structures at the Gardena Pumping Plant are at the end of their useful life and require replacement. The proposed Project will construct a new pumping plant on an adjacent property and will consist of a new building, installation of pumping and electrical equipment, power service and distribution systems, control systems and other features to address safety, reliability, and maintenance concerns. Property Management purchased the adjacent parcels in September 2019 and completed demolition of an existing building located on this parcel in July 2022.
