Description
The project will widen Auburn Way S between Hemlock St SE and Poplar St SE to accommodate two lanes in each direction, center turn lane and/or medians to provide access management where feasible, sidewalks, bus pull-outs, street lighting and storm improvements. The project will also add an eastbound turnaround and enhanced pedestrian crossing near Redwood Court. The project length is approximately 0.5 miles. The project is needed to provide additional vehicular capacity, transit, and non-motorized facilities on the corridor. DBE goal 14%.
Bonds required. Prevailing wages.
