Description

PCL, CM on the above projects is seeking all qualified DBE, SLBE, MBe and WBE companies. Bid Package #2 scope includes: Electrical, Electronic Safety, Process Integration. NAICS: 238210, 333310, 423830, 423850. These are the only scopes in this bid package. Original Project Description: The new water purification facility will be a large-scale water treatment project to directly purify treated wastewater and redistribute it as potable reuse drinking water. The facility will receive treated wastewater directly from the Roberto R. Bustamante WWTP and purify it using advanced treatment technologies such as microfiltration/ultrafiltration, nanofiltration/ reverse osmosis, UV advanced oxidation, granular activated carbon, stabilization, and chlorine disinfection, before distributing it for urban water use. The main process building will also include designated areas for administration, research, and education. PCL/Sundt JV intends to break up the requirements into smaller portions to encourage maximum participation, arrange time frames for contracts & establish delivery schedules, where the requirements permit, in a way that encourages & facilitates participation of DBE, SLBE, MBE and WBE firms. This Project is subject to Federal Labor Standards Provisions, including Davis-Bacon/ Prevailing Wage rates. This project is subject to the Build America, Buy America Act (BABAA) requirements under Title IX of the Infrastructure Investment and Jobs Act (“IIJA”), Pub. L. 177-58. The current BOR General Applicability Public Interest Waiver For WaterSMART Programs Impacted by Drought applies to the project. This project is federally funded and the bidder shall comply with all federal funding requirements including but not limited to: AIS, Domestic Procurement Requirements, DBE Compliance, and Federal Wage Requirements.
