Description

The Nevada County Purchasing Agent, on behalf of the Nevada County Public Works Department, is accepting Sealed Bids until the hour of 2:30 p.m., Tuesday, March 11, 2025 for the Combie Road Multi-Use Path Project. Federal No. CML-5917(119) County Project No. 440844. The work to be performed includes the following: Grading and excavation north of Combie Road to prepare subgrade for a new multi-use path Curb, gutter, and multi-use path improvements at various intersections and driveways along the multi-use path. Excavation/backfill for the placement of drainage improvements and pavement sections of the new multi-use path. Pavement and landscape restoration not limited to repair, sidewalks, curbs, gutters, driveway conforms, and handicap ramps. Rockery walls and rock slope protection. Protection or relocation of existing utilities at various locations along the multi-use path. Contractor will be required to possess a CLASS A contractor’s license, or a combination of classes required by the categories and types of work included in this contract at the time the bid is submitted. The contractor must be properly licensed as a contractor from contract award through contract acceptance (Public Contract Code § 10164).
