Description

This Project, located at 1150 G Harold Martin Drive in the City of Fort Lauderdale, includes but is not limited to demolition, grading, drainage improvements, irrigation, erosion control, tree protection, site enhancements, and new installations throughout the park. The Work begins with demolition, including the removal of the existing playground, lighting, root removal, fence, utilities, asphalt sidewalks, signage, and wayfinding structures, as well as the removal and relocation of existing trees and palms, grubbing, stump grinding, and root pruning. Following demolition, grading and drainage improvements will be performed, including cut and fill operations, excavation, and adjustments to storm drainage structures such as inlets, water meter, sanitary lateral, and manholes. Irrigation and landscaping work includes the installation of a new site irrigation system, planting of new trees, palms, shrubs, sod, and tree diapers. Park enhancements involve the construction of a new playground area with footers, site preparation, play surfacing, playground equipment, shade structures, benches, tables, trash receptacles, turf system, curbs, fencing, gates, drinking fountain, seat walls, gravity walls, playground irrigation, and lighting. Dog park improvements include concrete pads, benches, picnic tables, trash receptacles, fencing, dog park irrigation, seating shelter, pet station, water fountain, and gates. Additional park complex improvements consist of new concrete sidewalks, precast concrete pavers, rice rock, and header curb pavers, along with new signage, wayfinding structures, trash receptacles, benches, pavement markings, and shade structures for baseball, tee-ball, and multipurpose fields.
