Description

The City of Banning is soliciting proposals from qualified firms to provide Design Services for Pedestrian Crossing Upgrades at 19 Intersections throughout the City of Banning as part of HSIP Cycle 11, HSIPSL-5214(017). Based on the LRSP analysis, City staff recommend implementing countermeasures such as installation of curb extensions, ADA curb ramps, RRFB's, high visibility crosswalks, and advanced warning signs and pavement markings. The project is located at the following 19 intersections: Monarch Way and Wilson Street, Apex Street and Ramsey Street, 20th Street and Wilson Street, Nicolet Street and 21st Street, Nicolet Street and Sims Street, Wilson Street and 10th Street, Alessandro Road and Hoffer Street, Wilson Street and Hargrave Street, Alessandro Road and George Street, Nicolet Street and Alessandro Road, Livingston Street and 2nd Street, San Gorgonio Avenue and Lincoln Street (Route 243), San Gorgonio Avenue and Westward Avenue (Route 243), Nicolet Street and 20th Street, Nicolet Street and 2nd Street, San Gorgonio Avenue and George Street, Nicolet Street and Murray Street, Wilson Street and Florida Street, and Westward Avenue and 4th Street. The scope will consist of the preparation of Plans, Specifications and Estimates (PS&E) including construction support.
