Description

The Project. The Project is generally described as improvements to the existing play yard. Work shall include, but not necessarily limited to: a) Removal of portions of the existing concrete and asphalt paving; b) Removal and relocation of storage sheds; c) Partial demolition of the existing play equipment and playground protective surfacing; d) Asphalt pavement repair works; e) Installation of site amenities including basketball equipment and benches; f) Installation of chain link fence and gates around the dedicated Kindergarten play yard; g) Application of play yard resurfacing and coating including game line striping; h) Installation of play equipment and playground protective surfacing; i) Miscellaneous accessibility upgrades including drinking fountain and restroom signage. j) Perform hazardous materials and lead abatement as described and specified in Specification Section 00 31 26. DVBE Participation Goal. The District has a Disabled Veteran Business Enterprise (“DVBE”) Participation Goal Program (“the DVBE Program”) which establishes a three percent (3%) Participation Goal for DVBEs.
