General Work Description: The Stevenson Bridge Road Bridge Rehabilitation Project is located approximately 8 miles north of Dixon, California. The retrofit work includes carbon fiber wrapping of the arch, portal, vertical, and pier members; installation of reinforced concrete girders and abutment bolsters; replacement of tie girder prestressing tendons; removal and patching of unsound concrete; epoxy injection of larger cracks; and removal of the existing concrete deck surface followed by placement of a polyester concrete overlay. Foundation work consists of installing new 2.2-meter cast-in-drilled-hole (CIDH) piles at each support, concrete footing encasement, and construction of a permanent access road from the top of the north east bank to the bottom of the channel. Roadway approach work includes tree removal, grinding and removal of the existing asphalt concrete surface, grading, and construction of approximately 800 linear feet of new roadway
