Description

Phase I consists of the repair of the existing Arch Storm Drain Tunnel located at 45 feet under Foothill Boulevard and the existing 48 Corrugated Metal Pipe (CMP) storm drain located below the Lutheran Church in the Foothills (LCIF) parking lot. The general items of work include design and construction of a jacking pit in the LCIF parking lot; jacking a 30 ID (32 OD) High Density Polyethylene (HDPE) pipe northerly and southerly from the jacking pit to strengthen the existing Arch Storm Drain Tunnel and the 48 CMP; construct a new concrete outlet structure at the end of the 48 CMP storm drain; construct a new manhole stack in the shoring pit; backfill the shoring pit; remove the upper 2 feet of the shoring system; and other related work. Clean up and leave in an operable and acceptable condition all the work and other items not mentioned that are required by the Plans and Specifications.
