Description
The project includes constructing a new 12 sewer gravity main, and three new 60 diameter manholes in and near the intersection of Harbor Boulevard & Wilson Street, in Costa Mesa California. The contractor will be required to apply for and obtain a Public Works Encroachment Permit from the City of Costa Mesa for the work in the public Right-of-way. Work in the intersection will have to be performed at night. The City of Costa Mesa has a moratorium on construction activities during the Orange County Fair from July 17 through August 16. No work in the street will be allowed during that time, and those dates will not be counted as part of the 60-day time to complete the work on the project. The contractor will have to make their own arrangements for temporary equipment and material storage for the project. The city will not allow overnight storage of construction equipment and materials in the public right-of-way.
