Description
The project includes, but is not limited to, the removal of existing illuminated and retroreflective street name signs, including all associated components such as brackets, banding, and wiring. The work also includes furnishing and installing new illuminated and retroreflective street name signs with all associated components, including brackets, banding, and wiring, and ensuring all electrical connections are installed in accordance with manufacturer requirements and are fully operational. The Contractor shall be responsible for furnishing all materials, transportation, labor, equipment, all services and materials necessary to facilitate completing the comprehensive scope of work. The Manual on Uniform Traffic Control Devices (MUTCD) and Federal Highway Administration (FHWA) sets the standard for all traffic related signs; therefore, all signs quoted shall meet the requirements as described within the MUTCD/FHWA standards for layout, materials, and workmanship.
