Description

The City of Salinas Public Works Department is seeking qualified consultant support services to prepare plans, specifications, and estimates (PS&E) documents for new solar streetlighting and new solar radar feedback signs for inclusion in the Citys San Juan Grade Road Sidewalk and Street Lighting Improvements Project. The project includes the construction of new sidewalk on the west side of San Juan Grade Road, installation of new solar street lighting improvements on the west and east side of San Juan Grade, and installation of new solar radar feedback signs on the west and east side of San Juan Grade Road between 700 south of E Boronda Road and 600 feet north of Van Buren Avenue. The City will design and prepare construction/bid documents for the sidewalk improvements and requires consultant support services to prepare plans, specs and estimates for the solar streetlighting and solar radar feedback sign improvements required of the project. The project design shall comply with applicable city and state standards for the specific needs of the project. This Request for Proposals describes the Scope of Services, the necessary components of the Proposals, the Consultant selection process, and a sample copy of the Standard Professional Services Agreement.
