Sunrise and Summit Elementary Flooring, Charlottesville, VA

The City of Charlottesville is requesting bids for RFQ 26-60 for Sunrise and Summit Elementary Flooring. The scope of services generally includes, but is not necessarily limited to, the following: A. Demolition as noted on the Related Documents; B. Removal and storage of items to be salvaged and re-used N.I.C.; C. Disconnection and reconnection of kitchen equipment and fixtures will be performed by others. The Contractor shall coordinate with those trades for sequencing and access; D. Removal of existing carpet, VCT, cove base, and flooring accessories at Sunrise Elementary is included in this scope; E. Removal of existing VCT, cove base, and flooring accessories at Summit Elementary is not included in this scope and will be performed by the Owners Asbestos Abatement Contractor; F. Grind, polish, and dye (if additive bid item is accepted) the exposed concrete floor to meet specified finish standards as noted on the Related Documents; G. Installation of urethane cement flooring system, including surface preparation, primer, body coat, aggregate broadcast, topcoat, integral cove base, and detailing at drains, cleanouts, and transitions, in accordance with the specifications and Related Documents; H. Installation of approved logo as noted in the Related Documents; I. Provision of competent management and supervision of the project at all times; and, J. Thorough cleaning of the Project Site
