Description

The purpose and intent of this Invitation to Bid is to secure prices and establish a Term Contract for Servicing, Repair of Lifts and Shop Equipment and purchase of equipment as needed. Contractor shall provide all labor, materials, tools and equipment to provide Vehicle Lift and Shop Equipment Repair Services and purchase of equipment on an as-needed basis for the entire Contract term. Services will be provided in accordance with The School District of Palm Beach District terms, conditions, and this scope of work/requirements. Contractor Shall: Provide services to be performed by trained, authorized service technicians. Vendor shall be located within a 125 -mile radius of the Transportation/District location. Install new or existing vehicles lift (including additional concrete or reinforcement materials) Relocation of existing vehicle lifts (including any additional concrete or reinforcement materials) Vendor must be and have Technicians that are certified by Automotive Lift Institute (ALI). Vendors are to provide certifications prior to service. Removal of any surplus vehicle lifts Furnish a date of service sticker including a report listing all operating characteristics and overall condition of equipment. Provide tags with the date of last inspection and a date of next scheduled service. Identify any damaged or broken parts and District project manager for authorization of any repair. Complete inspection of pneumatic components including hydraulic lines and connections to the lift pump. Complete inspection of electrical wiring and plugs. Complete inspection of pneumatic systems (Compressed Air Systems). Complete inspection of the Hydraulics system including lines and lift pumps. Check hydraulic operation of the lift in fully raised and lowered position. Check fluid levels and conditions. Torque all anchors bolts to manufactures specifications. Inspect and test mechanical safety locks for any wear. Provide complete report of any work needed. Provide copy of all inspection sheets for District records. Provide date of inspection tag on equipment. Provide quote and list of all recommended repairs. Inspection and repair of air compressors, portable and fixed. Inspection and repair air hose reels. Inspection and repairs to hydraulic hose reels, dispensing reels. Inspection of oil pumps both fixed and portable
