Description

It is the intent of this Invitation for Bids (IFB) to solicit sealed bids from qualified and experienced contractors to provide asphalt paving and related site work services on an as-needed basis for the County of York, Virginia (the Owner). The Contractor shall furnish all labor, supervision, materials, equipment, tools, transportation, and incidentals necessary to perform asphalt paving, repair, replacement, and associated site work at various County-owned or designated locations. Work may include, but is not limited to: Asphalt installation (new construction and resurfacing); Milling and removal of existing pavement; Subgrade preparation and stone base installation; Patching, crack sealing, and pothole repair; Curb and gutter work; Sidewalks and ADA-compliant ramps; Striping, markings, and signage; Drainage improvements related to paving operations; Site grading and related earthwork.
