Description

The work to be done is described in the Plans, Section 8: Special Provisions, and other Contract Documents for the above stated project. The AGENCY reserves the right to delete or reduce any bid item at the time the Notice of Award is sent. The general items of work included in the scope of work are as follows: Scope of Work: Remove and replace deteriorated concrete sidewalks, curb and gutter, driveway approaches, and cross gutters on an as-needed basis. For fiscal year 2026-2027, the City estimates replacing approximately 90,000 square feet of sidewalk, 3,200 linear feet of curb & gutter, 9,000 square feet of driveway approach and 3,000 square feet of cross gutter. The work will be awarded throughout the year on an as-needed basis and the jobs will be of varying sizes. The estimated quantities are an approximate estimate of what the City anticipates replacing next fiscal year and these numbers could be greatly decreased or increased depending on the approved budget, bid unit pricing, and other circumstances. See Section 8: Special Provisions for more details.
