Description

Project Description: 3" Overlay paving on US20 from MP71.05-74.6 (US20/OR22 junction) and 3" Overlay paving along OR126E from MPO.00-11.00 (US20/OR126.E junction south to existing paving joint at MP11) All paving is edge of pavement to edge of pavement. Limits to be painted in the field by ODOT but extents of pavement are expected to be an existing joint on US20 just west of the intersection of US20 and OR126E, and the entrance to the ODOT Santium Maintenance Station just west of the intersection Of US20 and OR22. Skip bridge BR09473 on OR126E, CPPRo"-3" for 300' on each end of bridge and saw and seal the bridge joints. Taper grind project extents per Table 1, RD6.10. Adjust existing guardrail up to a minimum of a 31" height (existing height is 30") Replace long lines and legends to match preconstruction color, layout, location, and thickness. If permanent striping doesn't immediately follow paving, contractor to install temporary paint or stick-and-stomps to delineate traffic lanes per the 2024 OSSC. Lane reduction arrows at passing lanes are missing so contractor to install new arrows after paving is complete per figure 250 of the 2026 Pavement Markings Manual.
