Description
The City of Kinston (the City) has been awarded funding through the North Carolina Housing Finance Agency (NCHFA) for the Essential Single-Family Rehabilitation Loan Pool (ESFRLP27) and the Urgent Repair Program (URP27). The submitting firm shall provide testing services for up to ten (10) residential structures, with the potential for additional units subject to NCHFA approval, located within the City and Lenoir County. Program guidelines require: Radon testing for all dwellings Lead-based paint (LBP) inspection/risk assessment for all dwellings built before 1978 Lead hazard clearance testing where hazards are identified Asbestos inspection when suspect asbestos-containing materials (ACMs) are present All inspectors and designers must have current certifications from institutions that are approved in accordance with current state and federal requirements for lead based paint. Radon, and asbestos inspection activities.
