Description: Contractor shall identify and assess geographic areas across California that are disproportionately impacted by extreme heat; analyze the insured and uninsured costs borne by local governments; evaluate gaps in insurance coverage; and explore the applicability of innovative risk transfer tools (e.g., parametric insurance, performance-based coverage, catastrophe bonds). Contractor will also examine differential health impacts across population subgroups.
