Description
This Statement of Work outlines the scope of flooring demolition and replacement services to be performed at 401 N Garfield Ave, Montebello, CA 90640. The work includes the removal and replacement of existing laminate flooring, rubber base, and installation of transition strips in designated areas. Flooring Demolition Main Hallway: Remove and dispose of approximately 532 linear feet of existing 4-inch rubber base. Remove and dispose of approximately 3,325 square feet of existing laminate flooring. Conference Room: Remove and dispose of approximately 182 linear feet of existing 4-inch rubber base. Remove and dispose of approximately 1,650 square feet of existing laminate flooring. Demolition Notes: Contractor shall remove flooring materials with reasonable care to avoid damage to adjacent finishes and building components. All demolition debris shall be collected and removed from the site daily. Disposal of removed materials shall be in accordance with applicable local regulations. Flooring Installation Main Hallway Furnish and install approximately 3,325 square feet of laminate flooring. Furnish and install approximately 532 linear feet of 4-inch rubber base. Conference Room: Furnish and install approximately 1,650 square feet of laminate flooring. Furnish and install approximately 182 linear feet of 4-inch rubber base. Transition Strips: Furnish and install approximately 46 transition pieces, with one (1) transition piece installed at each doorway or flooring transition location. Installation Notes: Flooring shall be installed in accordance with the manufacturer's written specifications and industry's best practices. Rubber base shall be securely adhered and neatly finished at all corners, joints, and terminations. Transition strips shall be installed where flooring surfaces meet at doorways and other designated transition points.
