Description
In general, the scope includes the installation of a new outdoor 750kW diesel generator with subbase fuel tank. A new 3000A, 480/277V switchboard will be provided to tie the new generator and the existing generator together and on-board paralleling controls will parallel the generators together. The Generator and Switchboard will be located outside adjacent to the existing Generator Building. Mandatory 15% apprentice labor hours of the total labor hours are a requirement of the construction contract. Voluntary numerical Diverse Business goals of 10% MBE, 6% WBE, 5% SBE or PWSBE, and 5% Veterans have been established for this project. Achievement of the goals is encouraged.
