Bid Date Change - Peralta Oaks Public Health Lab Renovation Project, Oakland CA

Tenant improvements of the unfinished Shell Space to a lab. The existing shell space is approximately 450 square feet on the 2nd floor of the Peralta Oaks Alameda Public Heath Lab building located at 2901 Peralta Oaks Court in Oakland. The project scope includes the following: 1. New finishes including linoleum flooring, base, gypsum board finishes, and painting. The basis of design for all finishes and improvements shall be based on the existing building finishes and systems to match adjacent lab spaces 2. New Roller shades and suspended acoustic ceilings. 3. New lighting, sink/plumbing, and drain line. 4. As the floor slab is a post tensioned, contractor to scan floor prior to any core drilling 5. Room 233 is adjacent to a rated corridor; any modification of the rated corridor wall will be required to match the existing rating. 6. Fire sprinkler modifications will be design-built by contractor 7. HVAC modifications with negative pressure to match adjacent lab space will be required. M/E/P to be design-built by contractor 8. New electrical subpanel to be design-built and coordinated with County Building Maintenance (BMD) department. 9. New power receptacles and data outlets to be design-built by the contractor. Owner furnished equipment - refrigerators, freezers, fume hood, lab benches, and desks 10. Contractor furnished manufactured sink with drainboard and emergency eye wash. 11. M/E/P Engineers by SKA to provide peer reviews from the contractor’s engineers design submittals 12. Permitting of the design drawings for the tenant improvements is not required 13.
