Description

The work, in general, to be done under this contract consists of connecting to an existing unused sewer main near the intersection of Hegan and Midway south of the City of Chico and extending the sewer main south along Midway to Entler Avenue then east and south along Entler Avenue and terminating near State Route 99. The project will include the installation of sewer main, sewer manholes, pavement grinding and overlay, slurry sealing, pavement removal, repavement and striping. The work will take place primary within unincorporated areas of Butte County. The work to be done will generally consist of: Clearing and grubbing Construction surveying Cold planning asphalt Minor concrete Aggregate Base Asphalt paving Slurry Seal Laying PVC Sewer Pipe 8”-27” Roadway Signs Striping And all other work as shown on the contract plans. At the time the City awards the contract for this project, the Contractor shall possess either a Class A Contractor License or a combination of classes required by the categories and types of work included in this contract.
