Description

Scope of Services: Independent, licensed, professional consultant firms with expertise in Construction Management. times while managing the program with minimal guidance from the County. Consultants scope of work must include performing the duties of Resident Engineer and Construction Inspector. Performance of duties must be in conformance with procedures in the Caltrans Construction Manual and other documents referenced in the Caltrans Construction Manual. Consultant shall be responsible for authorizing or stopping and accepting or rejection the work of the contractor based upon conformance with the construction contract documents. The Resident Engineer shall be the consultants primary point of contact with the County and shall be responsible for preparing all contract change orders.
