Description
General work description: The work to be done generally consists of surface treatment work in the unicorporated Bay Point, Pacheco, Contra Costa Centre areas, and Kirker Pass Road. Work in Bay Point (Site 1) includes appyling either an asphalt rubber chip seal covered with a type II slurry seal or applying a type II slurry seal only on various roads. Work in Pacheco Area (Site 2) includes placing asphalt rubber chip seal covered with a type II slurry seal. Work in the incorporated area of Contra Costa Centre (Site 3) includes applying a micro-surfacing on various roads. Work on Kirker Pass Road (Site 4) includes placing a micro-surfacing on a portion within the unicorporated area of Concord and a portion within the city of Pittsburg limits. Work in all areas also includes pavement surface preperation including: weed spray, crack sealing, edge grinding, and pavement markings including thermoplastic stripe removal; adjusting and setting survey monuments, placement of thermoplastic traffic striping and pavement markings. DBE participation goals of 25% and GFE required. 80 working days for base bid..
