Description

Scope of Work: The work to be performed consists of pavement rehabilitation of various streets within the City of Orinda. Such work includes mobilization, demobilization, temporary traffic control, installation of water pollution control measures, removal & replacement of concrete sidewalk, construction of concrete curb ramps, base failure repair (dig out), milling/cold planing, hot mix asphalt (HMA) overlay, micro-surfacing, cape seal, adjustment of utility manhole frames and covers, perpetuating survey monuments, adjustment of valve boxes, installation of thermoplastic traffic stripes, thermoplastic pavement markings, blue reflectors, and crosswalks, and all other work as shown on the plans and as described in the Caltrans Standard Specifications and these Special Provisions to provide a complete project. Contractor shall conduct his/her operations in a manner which will result in the least possible obstruction and inconvenience to the affected property owners. This requirement includes dust, noise, cleanup, and protection of owners property.
